Kanchan Cashmere — Work With Us
WORK WITH KANCHAN CASHMERE

From first brief to repeat production — with one partner connecting development and manufacturing.

For international brands developing cashmere and luxury knitwear through clear approvals, controlled quality and realistic production planning.

THE PARTNERSHIP

A manufacturing partner should reduce complexity, not add to it.

Kanchan Cashmere connects product development, yarn sourcing, computerized knitting, hand finishing, quality control and export preparation within one coordinated workflow. The objective is not simply a good sample, but a product that can move into controlled bulk production and be reproduced with consistency later.

HOW YOU CAN START

Three ways to enter. One production system.

We adapt the development scope to the maturity of your product — from an early concept to an already engineered style.

01 · CONCEPT

You bring the direction. We engineer the route to sample.

For brands with moodboards, references, silhouettes or material direction but without a complete tech pack.

  • Yarn and gauge alignment
  • Stitch and construction development
  • Swatches and prototypes
02 · TECH PACK

You bring the specification. We engineer it for knit feasibility and production.

For design and product teams with defined measurements, construction and references that need production-ready execution.

  • Feasibility review
  • Sample and measurement alignment
  • Costing and bulk preparation
03 · REPEAT

An approved style becomes the controlled production reference.

For brands continuing successful styles, adding colours or organising seasonal repeats with cleaner execution.

  • Archived style references
  • Yarn and colour control
  • Repeatable specifications
WHAT WE CONNECT

Development only creates value when it survives production.

01 · DESIGN

Product & knit development

Swatches, knit structures, gauge selection, proportions, measurements and finishing are technically aligned before bulk approval.

02 · MATERIAL

Yarn selection with production context

We align yarn count, handfeel, construction, availability and relevant supplier documentation to the programme.

03 · KNITTING

3GG–16GG computerized and hand-crafted capability

From coarse to fine gauge, constructions are developed around yarn, weight, silhouette and required handfeel.

04 · FINISHING

Linking, washing & hand finishing

The final product is not created by the knitting machine alone. Linking, washing, shaping and hand finishing form part of the quality reference.

05 · QC

Control during and after production

Inline checks, measurement control, visual inspection and final AQL 2.5 inspection support controlled shipment release.

06 · EXPORT

Packing & export preparation

Final quantities, packing requirements and export-related documentation are aligned before shipment release.

TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

From drawing to controlled knit construction.

Technical sketches help define proportion, construction, knit details and manufacturing logic clearly before sampling begins.

FROM ENQUIRY TO SHIPMENT

Each phase ends with a decision, not ambiguity.

01

Brief

Product, references, target quantity, price framework and delivery window.

02

Feasibility

Yarn, gauge, construction, development depth and timing are reviewed.

03

Sampling

Swatches and samples are developed against the agreed direction.

04

Approval

Measurements, construction, colour, handfeel and finishing are confirmed as reference.

05

Bulk

Capacity is scheduled after approvals, yarn readiness and the required advance payment.

06

Shipment

Final inspection, packing, documentation and shipment release.

PRODUCTION GATE

Bulk production does not begin on open assumptions. Yarn readiness, approved samples and specifications, and the required advance payment must be confirmed.

COMMERCIAL FRAMEWORK

Clear terms before time and capacity are committed.

MOQ
30 pcs per style · minimum 10 pcs per colour
SAMPLING
7–14 working days · typically 1–3 samples per style
BULK
35–45 working days (±5), after approval and yarn readiness
PAYMENT
Up to USD 25,000: 100% advance · Above USD 25,000: 50% advance, 50% before shipment
QUALITY
Inline checks · measurement control · final AQL 2.5 inspection
WHAT RELIABILITY MEANS

Fewer claims. More controllable references.

PRODUCT REFERENCE

Approved samples lead bulk production.

Measurements, construction, handfeel and finishing are controlled against approved references so bulk does not depend on an undefined interpretation.

MATERIAL REFERENCE

Yarn and available evidence are managed programme by programme.

Certification claims are used only where yarn article, supply route and certificate scope genuinely support the statement.

SHIPMENT REFERENCE

Final release follows inspection.

Quantities, measurements, visual quality, packing and required shipment documentation are controlled before final release.

A STRONG BRIEF

The clearer the start, the faster we can define feasibility and the next step.

You do not need a perfect package. These inputs are enough for us to begin a useful first review.

01
Product or category

Sweater, cardigan, outerwear, accessory or another knit product.

02
References

Tech pack, sketch, image, existing sample or moodboard.

03
Material direction

Cashmere, blend, required handfeel, weight or an existing yarn reference.

04
Quantity

Expected quantity per style and intended colour split.

05
Target timing

Required delivery window or intended launch timing.

YOUR NEXT PROGRAMME

Start with the product. We will structure the route to production.

Send references, material direction, target quantity and delivery window. We will review the development and production route and respond with a clear next step.

Built Together. Made to Endure.
